Using their 1998 findings, published in Reporting the Arts, as a benchmark, this study revisits the same cities analyzed at that time, and examines the shifting state of arts journalism since. This volume also further explores the growing field of alternative media, online news sources and public radio. In addition, this book also includes a series of essays by NAJP fellows on various fields of criticism and the challenges they face today.
