Artists' Quake Aid reports on how artists were affected by the February 28, 2001 Nisqually earthquake in Washington State. It describes the process of creating and administering a relief fund established to respond to the losses of art work, equipment, and supplies suffered by artists in the Puget Sound area affected by the earthquake. The report also offers recommendations for short and long term future actions, provides findings from a subsequent artist survey, and includes prevention and crisis resources. Its overall theme is prevention and planning.
