The reports and resources in this first packet of a series describes ways that communities are using the growth of the Internet and the expansion of digital communications to strengthen education, social services, health, and democracy. The packet is designed to engage, equip and help mobilize widespread discussion and debate on the future of public media to help shape a more vigorous and inclusive public culture. An annotated resource guide and a brief on public policy options to fund public media are included.
