A result of a yearlong process involving both research and dialogue, this publication provides the plan for the development of Santa Monica in the form of a collective vision for the future of the community. This shared vision includes the arts, cultural activities, entertainment, and education. The development plan has three major points: celebrating innovation, increasing cultural perception, and enhancing sustainability. The implementation of this plan will take place over the next ten years, although many of the report's recommendations will begin within the first three years. The plan also provides a cohesive timeline including preliminary steps, start dates, partner agencies, and estimated costs.
