Angie Kim to Join Southern California Grantmakers

Angie Kim will be leaving The Getty Foundation at the end of this week and will be joining Southern California Grantmakers (SCG) as their Director of Programs beginning August 9.

She has worked at The Getty Foundation for the past four years where she was responsible for communications and evaluation of grant initiatives as well as a program officer for professional development programs serving graduate and multicultural undergraduate students. She will be putting her interests and extensive experience in grantmaking to work in her new role at SCG, which is a regional association of grantmakers serving much of Southern California, representing private, family, and community foundations; corporate grantmakers; and individual donors. As Director of Programs, she will be developing and implementing SCG's programs benefitting its members and identifying innovative ways to strengthen philanthropic practice and the community of funders.
