2023 GIA Conference Hotel Subsidy

Grantmakers in the Arts is pleased to offer subsidized hotel rooms for up to 5 nights on a first-come, first-served basis for attendees from nonprofit regranting organizations (as separate from foundations) and government agencies (limit of 2 per organization/agency) that would otherwise struggle with the expense of the conference hotel. While we know that grantmakers with small budgets struggle with expenses, GIA is prioritizing nonprofits and government agencies due to their need to raise money or the limitations of discretionary spending within a public budget.

This is a one-time offer to help defray the expenses of attendees’ participation. We encourage attendees to use this opportunity to send colleagues who may not otherwise get to participate in the conference including junior staff and colleagues from underrepresented groups, such as members of the disability community, BIPOC professionals, and other under-invested groups.
